Engineers Week

02/21/2006 12:11 PM

We are involved with Mathcounts for Junior High Students, a bridge building contest for high school students, a robotics contest for high school students, and a man booth a a science fair. This year we are attempting to involve attendees into designing erosion control for a project site. However, we want to explore new avenues of getting the community involved with "engineering". We also wish to recognize the contributions of engineers in an effective way during this time period. I would be interested to read what other engineers are doing during this week.

I wonder how much attention it will get in the national media, I was made aware via an internal email. We are having something internal, which is nice. We are all used to sales being celebrated, but after all what are they selling?
