Does anyone know a source for PVC, multi-pin, automotive type, electrical connectors?

If you go to globalspec.com, and search in the electrical connectors area, you can specify automotive, and the number of pins you want, to get a listing of companies. Here is a link to the search form.

Automotive connector mfrs. include Tyco Electronics, FCI, Molex and Delphi. Most automotive connectors are Nylon or Polyester. PVC is rarely used.

Good luck on the automotive type if you need it for personal use. If its for testing purposes in a business environment where you need the mating connectors, most manufacturers require a 2k-3k piece minimum order. In my case, we purchased in large volumes for the connectors that went on our pressure sensors. I was able to call the manufacturers' rep and request samples of their mating connectors to be used in the calibration & final testing of our sensors.

I would recommend that path if you are looking for small quantities. It might or might not work considering we were already purchasing large quantiities, but its worth a try.
