Unable to Send/Post a Topic

01/27/2024 11:07 AM

Hi,

I cut and pasted a circuit in a discussion that I wanted to participate but for some unknown reason was not able to send. I am getting an error message.

Can someone advise how can I insert a circuit in the discussion?

Kind regards,

Job

Use the camera icon (7th icon above)

If the schematic is a jpg file on your computer, use Choose File and select file. If it is an image on the internet, right click and select "choose image address" and then paste the address in "Image URL". Hit OK.

This window pops up. Just hit OK.

They might have started screening for copyright protected images, I had the same issue yesterday...no point in figuring out a work around, just link to the source...or just describe it....

"They might have started screening for copyright protected images"

Nope. But please PM if you get other inexplicable weirdness.

I think I've been having the same problem for a month or so now: if you "cut" something from your screen then paste it into a post, when you try to submit the comment it says it can't do it, and, to try again; then it says it's already done it and can't do it again.

The only work around I've found is to save the cut image to a file, then, place the image in the post using the little camera icon.

With your smartphone, you can try taking a snapshot or a screenshot picture of the schematic diagram to be posted, then paste it onto or as an attachment or together with the site comment page you are sending forward.

I had a problem recently posting a couple images from my computer. I cropped the images and was able to post the cropped images. I suspect it could be file size. You might try cropping or reducing the resolution.

Yes the size of the file in most occasions is another limiting factor that also restricts the posting of attachments which I believe an outside file link is more effective.
