Hello all,
Could you please share what is the critical points to
be controlled to have the best performance film for the
powder coating applied for furnitures ?

please correct me if i'm wrong. Powder coating application normally use in steel materials in order to heat the substrate prior for the power spray using a positive charge to fuse / melt the powder once it reaches the substrate in a controlled temperature.
you may have referring to a steel furniture materials. Still needs a preheating prior for the powder spray. However, the critical points is the application temperature within a certain time. Once you remove the steel materials from the oven, you need to have quick spray with powder to cover the whole area.
Some manufacturers for kitchen utencils, they are using a dipping method at a precise time to be in uniform thickness of the coating.
If it is in a dipping method, there will be a pre-treatment of steel materials to have an excellent adhesion of coating. Mostly the pre-treatment are in chemical washing / dipping method to remove the rust / corrosion / contaminants from the steel surfaces.
Another alternative for powder coating especially for steel furnitures is the application of polyurethane coating using earless-spray method.
Depends upon the user which is the cost effective is terms of raw material cost + labour cost.
