The article attempts to discuss the philosophical ontology of spacetime. I found the article to be inconsistent and short for a proper address of such a complex and deep topic. The article focuses on the idea that a concept does not "exist." Unfortunately, the author's proffered dictionary link for "exist" cites the existence of a concept, racism. They cannot have it both ways.

What are words for?

That is one song from the early eighties that I had forgotten about. That tickled my memories and I do remember hearing that on the Big Mattress on WBCN way back then.

Once our science gets rid of Maxwell light, space time and space expansion disappears.

Photons are not waves, they are hammers. Light does not have a frequency, it has a duty cycle.

Only matter can vibrate. Red shift, all light shift, is a duty cycle shift. Emitter motion changes the duty cycle ratio, detector motion changes rate of duty cycle. Two shifts in one.

Cosmology and gravity theories will have to start over.

IMHO:

Gravity is the result of our dimension accelerating at the speed of C ,like fish caught in a net, the denser the fish, the more the net is stretched.

We are confined to this dimension. We cannot escape the net except by traveling faster than C, which is currently impossible.

We cannot observe our net directly, because it is uniform.

Gravity is indistinguishable from uniform acceleration.

There may be many nets in existence, but we will never know.

I imagine the Total universe, including all possible dimensions, as a checkerboard, with like dimensions only touching at the corners, and a very narrow window ,which may be possible in the future, through which to enter. Entering an unlike dimension, such as one dominated by antimatter would be destructive to the traveler. If we were to somehow (traveling at C+) enter an opposite dimension, we would instantly self destruct because our laws of physics do not apply. We are confined to our net or bubble if you like.

Perhaps the Big Bang, as we refer to it, expanded into many dimensions, not just one.

That is just the way I imagine it, and of course I could be wrong.

If the word "exists" is so strongly coupled with space-time, then space-time exists! It sounds like tautology, but I would like to see how else we can define the term "exists" without giving it a spatial or temporal significance. Are we talking about the supernatural?

Off topic? Light is what we use to confirm spacetime. The only thing we use.

Have you ever looked at AC current closely? The current, not the voltage. Have you noticed that before the current reverses, it must fall to zero. This is because for current to reverse, the electrons, the charge carriers, must FLIP to turn around. And if you knock the current out of phase with voltage, the current STILL continues and has to fall to zero before flipping.

Now look at the voltage and current on a dipole antenna. Here, the current disappears…… at MAX current.

That’s because the current is flipped….. at max CURRENT. This breaks the current field.

That breakage breaks and separates the collective field around the antenna. And that field collapses out into space.

This charge flip is instant. For every 180 input, one breakage, one emission, one photon collapses out.

Out into space. At the end of every 180 degrees….. an instant field chunk emission.

Radio blinks. EM Propagation is a duty cycle.

The true dynamic of electricity is not charge flow, it’s charge alignment.
