How to Ship a Car

10/04/2025 6:12 AM

I had to ship my car from New Jersey to Texas last winter. It was a bit stressful at first because I didn’t know how reliable these services were, but it turned out fine. The driver showed up within the pickup window, and the car got to Texas without any damage. One tip: don’t fill the tank before shipping, and remove anything loose inside the car. I also learned that it helps to be available by phone during the transport in case the driver needs directions or updates.

When I was looking into companies, A1 Auto Transport had some straightforward info that helped me compare options. It made it easier to figure out what was legit and what to avoid.
