Seeking A QA Manager

12/18/2007 5:30 PM

Hello All,

I am an HR Manager at a co that makes a power distribution product. I am new to the industry and not well versed on electrical engineering. We are trying to recruit a QA Manager with a technical background. Would you recommend that we advertise in a Quality forum or an electrical/electrical-mechanical forum? Do quality people look at sites like these? Have any of you worked with good recruiters who could help us find this type of background? Is this even the right section in which to post????

Any advice is appreciated.

Pls provide details of your company.

Reading sites like this can be anybody, provided they are the type that like look for additional info/knowledge and so forth. Of course QA personnel do browse their specialized column....you got to search their forum column.

We are a privately held circuit breaker manufacturer. We have been in business for over 50 years. Here is our website. If you know anyone who is interested in this type of opportunity, please let me know. Thanks!

No, quality people would never look at sites like these... we pretty much get bums, cats, guitar players, monkeys, aramdillos with rockets on their backs, freaky triangular shaped prisim dudes, and Andy Germany. I take it back, Andy is quality.

But most have a sense of humor....

Try posting at ASQ - American Society for Quality in the careers section.
