frequency measurement help

i want to measure frequency up to 9999Hz already connected all component based on icm7217a cheep as per data sheet but not able to to read correctly.

if i use time base generated from 555 there is error in reading when time changes. due to RC combination.

with same design from intersil icm7207a not available in my region ( india Mh pune)

now dose some one know how to generate store and reset pulses for the same

i already have 1sec clock need store and reset configuration cc-kt.

I always use a counter or O-scope, ya can pick this up cheap

Your idea is to measure frequency in an analog way.

Use digital. Is more accurate, most of the time do not require calibration and has several good, tested in practical applications diagrams.

Just search Internet: "digital frequency measurement"
