Powder coating and pretreatment

12/26/2007 5:39 AM

I have a Pretreatment and powder coating plant in a coastal area of India. My problem is the disposal of effluents generated during pretreatment process. the material used for coating is CRCA and HR sheets. Can I have some suggestion on how to eliminate the generation of effluents during pretreatment?

Acid pickle most likely.

Perhaps an alkaline detergent to remove oil prior.

Milo,

If i am in the municipality of india, automatically that querries of the owner is a positive sign to forclose and padlock his coating plant without any investigation at all.

effluent water destroys the eco-system with severe effect on human.

Do you think INDIA is still developing their policy regarding effluent water disposal system? How much more on their nuclear technology? Do you think there is no effluent on that?

lets get more info..... pleasee...

Yes, I am in an Indian muncipality and yes there is already a policy exists where in we are not allowed to discharge any effluent. the present method being followed is completely neutralise the effluent and pass it thru industrial reverse osmosis and then reuse the treated product of IRO. This way there is no effluent goes into the ecosystem. But why having all these hastles if someone can suggest a method of pretreatment without using water at all? I am looking for a dry pretreatment method, can any one suggest a suitable method...
