Commercial SpaceX rocket Falcon 1 failed due to an unexplained fuel leak 25 seconds into its flight. The 21m-long (70-foot-long), two-stage rocket was powered by liquid oxygen and kerosene. Falcon 1 had originally planned to launch last November, but the mission was delayed by concerns ranging from problems with the rocket to limitations on the supply of liquid oxygen at the remote Kwajalein Atoll site. SpaceX is a company that is attempting to develop inexpensive, reusable rockets for commerical endeavors.
