Greetings ~

In the U.S., Fixed Steel Platforms Associated With Oil & Gas Production generally adhere to the newest version of the American Petroleum Institute's Recommended Practice RP-2A(WSD) ... the WSD for Working Stress Design. The Cathodic Protection Systems might vary, depending on salesman's skills and specialty anodes being pushed, but will mostly follow the NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers International) Document RP0176-yy (yy for most recent edition-year): Corrosion Control of Steel Fixed Offshore Platforms Associated With Petroleum Production.

See : http://www.api.org/Standards/ (link at bottom of the page for questions)... and http://www.nace.org/nacestore/department.asp?ID=61 .

The tallest "fixed" structure in the Gulf of Mexico is (I believe) Shell's "Bullwinkle" platform, standing in about 1300 feet of water (your 300m equating to approx. 985 ft.). The deeper water projects involve either a "Tension-Leg" design or Spar design, either having additional anchorages ... or (ship-style) Floating Production system. These floating styles (including TLP's) have only recently been "Classed" by the various Classification Societies (including ABS, American Bureau of Shipping); see: http://www.iacs.org.uk/ ... Assuming that SOMEBODY is going to INSURE your project, if it falls into such a category, it would have to meet certain of their engineering criteria.

As far as your question regarding the Operation thereof ... I'm gonna defer that to the first expert on that subject who can put it into the proverbial thimble that you desire...(!!!) There's an entire encyclopedia's worth of information, depending on what product or products (and their grades) that you're extracting, how much processing required before pipelining it (separation, injection of corrosion inhibitor, etc.) ...

In other words, you haven't provided ALL of the data necessary for a complete response ... even if CR4 had the space for it... ...Certainly NOT a "weekend_project"...

Best Regards ~

"water depth more than 300 meters"

This mean that the pressure there shall be more than 30 kg/cm2.
