Furnace Oil Viscosity

may i know about the relation of furnace oil rate of flow and viscosity of it

Empirically, as the viscosity goes up, the flow rate goes down.

To calculate an actual flow rate, you need more information, such as the temperature of the oil, (as this goes up, the viscosity goes down), the size of the pipe the oil is flowing through (smaller pipe, more resistance to flow) and the pressure pushing the oil through the pipe (higher pressure, greater flow). With that information, and the viscosity of the oil at a known temperature (oil supplier should be able to provide information), it should be possible to calculate the flow rate, though the actual calculation will have to be provided by one of my esteemed colleagues on this forum!
