The non-profit PolyPops Development Foundation funded by innovators and entrepreneurs, provides awards, advice and grants for innovation in the use and application and/or engineering of plastics and polymers in the Health care arena. The foundation has been funded by the founder and directors of Polyfiltronics, Inc., now a Whatman PLC company. Other Biotech companies also provide funding on occasional basis.
