Approx. Price for Swiss-Turning Centre?

01/25/2008 6:59 AM

How much approximately would a complete set of Swiss-type turning equipment cost? Not a very basic one, something that provides intricate cross-machining for small parts up to 15mm diameter and up to 5-10 mm overall length (could be longer, but length is not essential). Examples: Citizen Cincom L20 or M16 - or anything comparable by functionality, complete with accessories and a bar feeder. Quotes are difficult to find on the internet, and I'd rather refrain from contacting dealers until I am serious about purchasing it. I need pretty rough approximations. Thank you!

Cost depends upon location and delivery address. Where [the hell] are you, yuri78?

Location will be either Vancouver or Hong Kong. We are still debating where to base it. Currently am in HK. Thanks!

oh, by the way... I just saw a quote for a used Citizen B12 at around $59,000 (FOB price) complete with a bar feeder - but B12 is not exactly what I need.

Ball part price should be between $250-$400K USD, depending on the options you select.

You should be able to find some used equipment in the $150 - 200 k range (in USD).
