Bio-Inspired Textiles

What new types of textiles are bio-inspired in the way that Velcro, FastSkin(mimicking shark skin) and those incorporating the 'Lotus-Effect'(self-cleaning) drew their inspirations from Nature?

Hi Guest.

How about Moleskin, this textile was one of the warmest materials going, and used by deepsea trawlermen in the 1960s and 70s fishing above the arctic circle!
