Emergency Gent Set and Emergency Fire Pump

Hi

I have emergency fire pump and emergency Gent set .what the appropriate PM should applied to assure when we need it will run the OEM manual state most of PM schedule on Running HRS which will not be applicable .

Can any one tell me how frequent will do this PM for ex when we need to replace lub oil when we need to recalibrate press switch level switch.etc

Since its fire pump what NFPA20 state for that

Hello,

Generator must be tested under load monthly, and fire pump weekly.

Maintenance has to follow manufacturer recommendations.

further to my previous note:

oil change to be done every year; pressure switches and other controls are normally do not require calibration on scheduled basis, they are done as required.

Your corner stone is regular testing and logging of all observed parameters. This will help to diagnose and correct problems at early stages.
