New Living Fossil Found

05/23/2006 2:08 PM

Looks like extinct doesn't mean what it used to. A cross between a shrimp and mud lobster (I had to look it up too) that was thought to have gone extinct 60 million years ago has been found.
A member of a similar species was found in 1908.

Just watch out for the bones - it is a living fossil after all.

If it tastes like a shrimp crossed with a lobster it might be a big seller.
Which of course would drive it into extinction again.
