Concrete Volute Pump

I have heard that Concrete Volute Pumps for Pumping Stations for Irrigation Canal is an obsolated technology. Is this true ? Which is the best available technology now-a-days ?

CV pumps are used in applications where it is no longer cost effective to build the volute out of steel or cast iron. Go to: kbl.co.in for more information
