Since 1979, Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research or PEAR program has studied the interaction of human consciousness with physical devices, systems, and processes found in engineering effort. Review some of the 38 articles, take a virtual tour of the PEAR lab, and see if there really is a human-machine connection.

I'm much more interesting in the stories about people with disabilities being able to control a mouse pointer with their mind. That type of interface is fast coming and people need to realise that the division between man and machine is much smaller as time goes by.
