H-Beam weight per meter

I want to know weight of H-Beam 200 x 100 x 5.5 x 8 (mild steel) per meter length

why dont you calculate by formula of specific gravity?

cnpower is right - just calculate cross-sectional area (remembering to convert to m2), look up the specific gravity (= density), (remembering if necessary to to convert to kgm-3), and multiply. Answer is in kgm-1.

search for the catalogue, there you can get the answer.

generally for angle, channel,I-beams etc you can get weight in catalogue
