Viscosity of Fuel Oil

What is the internationally accepted viscosity for firing Fuel oil into Furnace for steam generation? is it 2deg E?

While I agree that many steam boilers do use No. 2 diesel fuel, many burn the heavier Nos. 4, 5 and 6 "Residual" oils.

I would think that "internationally", some of these heavier, less refined fuels might be even more prevalent than that of the more distilled No. 2...
