In-House kWH Meters

03/15/2008 7:03 AM

I have a 25 Unit Aoartment Building Complex and wish to monitor kWH consumption on a monthly basis. I wish to source suitable low cost meters for this purpose and would welcome any suggestions in this regard.

Hi, carib,

Is that one meter per unit? Where are you from?

Try:

www.maplin.co.uk

They have various lower cost designs from individual socket monitoring - I bought mine for GBP10 = $20., to whole house wireless systems whereby you can have the display in a central room and see what is going on all the time.

Regards

Dear Hugh,

Many thanks for your submission. Can you send the specs for the Model that you are using?

Carl

Carl,

I do not think that mine will be much use as it is a plug in design specified for the UK market where we use British Standard 1363 sockets with three pins in a triangle.

Have a look at ther efergy N42FR energy saving meter:

Regards
