Your consideration while installing WAPs, among other things;

1. Coverage area of Assess point equipment.

2. Since you are installing in a multistorey building, consider spacing between APs in same storey rather than between storeys. Having determined the coverage area, space them such that the coverage areas overlap to make for seamless mobility (no disconnection of service while moving from one point to another)

Same holds for APs between storeys

3. Consider you structured office cabling and determine the quallity of cable to use. This should be a function of your estimated network data thruput. Consider between UTP cat 6 and 7 to eliminate the possibility of upgrade in near future.

4. Of course number of users is important.

5. Intergrity of the power system MUST be established prior to istallation.

Cheers,

ethobil
