hi friends, could u tell me how the fresh air is supplied into the conditioned room for the purpose of O2 and etc?..plez tel me the equipement required for this purpose or how this is attained?
Quantity of fresh air is calculated in office building and schools at 15-20 cfm per person. Check your local requirements. OA (outside air) is introduced though OA damper wichis part of an economizer package that is purchased with most packaged rooftop hvac units in my area of the world. An economizer provides AO cooling below OA temps of 60 dgrs f. These units have a min OA pot to set OA %open during main fan operation. In larger applications or conference rooms or theatres where occupancy largely varies CO2 sensors are used (many times called IAQ sensors) and located in the units return air duct. If co2 rises above 1000 ppm OA dampers open and exhaust fan ramp up to introduce OA to purge the space. Heat recovery units which exhaust air and bring in fresh air are also used in pool and workout facilities. These units thransfer heat from the exhaust to the incoming OA. They tranfer heat in the opposite direction when cooling is required.
