As the importance of the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is receiving greater recognition, it is becoming more beneficial to be aware of the indoor air pollution problem and its' health risks.
The current legal system in the USA exposes engineers, manufacturers, vendors, and service companies to liability for health and life safety problems arising out of a "Sick Building Syndrome".
Vacuum Cleaners type LFvac do not exhaust dust into the room.
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) has surfaced as a major concern in hospitals, hotels, offices, schools, residential buildings, as well as, in the modern industrial work places. Poor IAQ reduces productivity, and causes allergenic and pathogenic illnesses. We breathe continuously and uninterruptedly during all our entire life. When you neglect Air Pollution Control measures, you pay the price with your health.
It is mistakenly expected that Conventional Vacuum Cleaners (CVC) control Indoor Air Pollution (IAP), and clean the room air.
Just check it yourself how much of dust in the room air before and after vacuuming, and you realize that the CVCs, actually, are source of the IAP. Thus, the simple vacuuming can release myriads of harmful menaces into your room.
The crucial obstacles of the CVC are:
1. Primary IAP. The filters are insufficient to trap the fine dust; therefore the fine particles passing the filters off are turbulently discharged into the breathing zone of the room.
2. Decreasing air capacity. Dust gradually collected on filters increases a resistance to the airflow, reducing the vacuum cleaner suction capacity. The airflow falls off 50% to 70% as the dirt fills the filter-bag up to only 10% to 20%.
3. Secondary IAP. The decreased air suction is capable to remove only a part of all dust agitated by the sweeping device. So, a growing amount of the dust is ejected back into the room strictly from the sweeping device.
4. Sweeping device – power brush exhaust hood is designed with improper base of the aerodynamics.
5. CVCs are insufficient for fire hazardous and explosive dusts, aerosols, spills of mercury, oil, acids, neutralization of vapors and fumes, lead and radon, etc.
6. Maintenance costs. Ultimately, the best, most-efficient filters do little good if they are not inspected and replaced regularly.
APCCo has developed LFvac - based on the new engineering concepts.
All above-mentioned problems are eradicated. It distinguishes by exceptional reliability and long-term performance, and cannot be matched in efficiency, low costs operation, and simplicity in manufacturing. Unlike CVCs the LFvac provides air purification, fire suppression, explosion prevention, acid neutralization.
Health does depend on air we breathe.
We live in an ocean of air. It touches every surface, clean or dirty, living organisms or inanimate material. The average person's respiratory system has to eliminate, every day, over two heaping tablespoons of particulate matter - dust, pollen, tar, acids, smoke, bacteria, rubber, carbon, metals, and many other particles and vapors. Small wonder that a growing percentage of the population has chronic sinusitis, allergies, asthma, inflamed eyes, and other symptoms caused or aggravated by indoor air pollution. |
