Generator Load sharing

Hello,

Is it required for both Generator prime movers to have the same governor droop setting for load sharing whether Steam turbine or Diesel Engine?

YES IT IS FOR ACTIVE POWER SHARING,FR REACTIVE POWER SHARING, AVR NEED TO BE ADJUSTED

Hello,

Yes u must have same droop settings for both, the droop curves for both should be same for sharing equal loads, If the capacities are different then it may be different
