Leakage Flux Test on the Rotor GE Generator

04/09/2008 5:31 AM

Dear Large Generator experts

1.Could you told me the company that can supply / manufacture for steel wedge turbo rotor generator ? our customer require replace the steel wedge for GE Generator 237.5 MVA / 15500 V / 3000 RPM.

Rotor GE 237.5 MVA / 300 RPM (left) and Steel wedge rotor close-up (right)

Steel endwedge rotor close-up

2. Could you told me how to test of leakage flux (rotor winding short), normally in the stator should be installed with RFM (rotor Flux Monitoring) probe, but its not available in this generator, also we can't installed with temporary due to generator casing is totally enclosed design, thus we can't insert the FRM probe via vent holes of stator slot.

Pls advise

Thank you and Regards
