NASM standart high strength shoulder bolt

04/09/2008 8:52 AM

Hello,

I am searching a NASM standart shoulder bolt (NAS1297 or NAS1160 have not enough tensile strength unfortunately) which has a UTS (ultimate tensile strength) of at least 220 ksi (around 1500 MPA) to be used on Aircraft Secondary Structure.

Well, the size of the bolt will make a small difference, use an standard grade 8 bolt, but to achive the 1500 MPA you'll either need more bots or larger bolts.

Good luck,
