About Relays

Hi, i want to know the difference between Spad relay and Spaj Relay based on thier operation.

It's late and I just got to browsing CR4 Home, saw the SPAD/SPAJ query & got some answers ready to post - then saw you'd already done it, hours ago!

I finally looked at a map and realized why Reading sounded so familiar. My son lives with his Mum in Stroud.I've been out the M4 and M40 both. Love that area.

Time for me to go home. Been fighting an Italian machine with a fragged out Bonfiglio gearbox all day.

SPAD -relay is basically for the transformer ,or generator differential protection.

SPAJ-this relay is basically for feeder protection ,or may be used for a transformer protection.
