pipe classification

what is the basic classification of pipes...........wats that CLASS A, CLASS B, CLASS c.............is welding possible in GI pipes?????

It is not a good plan to weld galvanized pipe.

Madar Chuod, gandu, kutee kamene tunee GI ka pipe kabi deka bhi he kya? Laude bhenchoud ,bhosdike GI Pipe me 6013 ka welding rod use kerte he.Betichoud samjha kya?

there is no such thing as a universal Class A, Class B, ect. Each company will set up what a Class A means. It coulb be a Class A is an set of specification where the pipe, fittings, and valves are rated to 285 psi. This would mean pipe of certain diameters and wall thickness with ANSI Class 150 flanges and valves that are 800 WOR or ANSI class 150 rated.
