Dynamic Analysis With SolidWorks

05/05/2008 11:03 PM

Dear all friends,

Here I have 1 question, its possible to analyze the mechanical response of foam or cellular structure using Cosmoswork analysis. The mechanical response which used is dynamic analysis, since the cell size of the structure in micron size. Hope to hearing from u all

Yes experiment. ... coz i want to compare the modelling result with the my sample.. its the value energy applied for my sample is the same in the modelling result..something like that... its CAD sytem is suitable for my sample...that is why i just wan make sure either solidwork can analyse my design or nor...

COZ,if you just compare two modellings different ,i think many CAD software could do it ,as UG NX could do .But SW i don't know ,wait for a moment please ,i will ask for my workmates about the question !

yes,you can!

solidworks->tools->Add-ins-> select "solidworks utilities"(the last one)

SolidWorks Utilities is a set of tools that lets you examine in detail the geometry of a solid model, and make comparisons to other models.

Dear sir wizard....

thanks for suggestion..but in my case.. i want to compare the model with the experimental value....its possible??...since the cell size of my foam too small?? its significant coz my sample in foam structure..anyways thank for ur comment
