how i can use the pc to control (on/off) (through serial and parallel port) using C or C++ prog. language?
It was easy in the old days with quick basic you could drive the ports quite simply.
However it is now much more difficult...and they tell us this is progress.

Do you know input/ouput sentence in c or c++?
try to find it in your program. and then add some communication regularity.
