The arc extingusher/arcing horn located on the moving part of load break switch (on load isolators)in mediun voltage over head lines.

dear Guru..

Please describe how does the 'arcing horn' functioning in LBS. this is attached with the load side of(moving part) o/h power isolator which is mounted horizontally on the pole.
