Dear Mr. Ramana,

I have seen Class 3P PT along with metering PT but found only metering PT wired to both meters and Protection relays and Class 3P PT left unwired.

Any clarifications for this?

Hi,

Multi core PT are avilable in EHT appalication. Class 0.2, Class 1.0, Class 0.5 etc., accauracy are for metering. The 3P or 5P core are for protection application like under frequency application.

Dear sir,

I understand from your comment as these Class 3P or 5P PT's are used for under/over frequency trip.

Am I right?
