"Dear Bob" Matson (see RFID Questions & Answers at www.softmatch.com) CEO, RFID Engineering, attended several

electronics schools while in the Navy, (1961 to 1967) and entered college when discharged, earning a BS in electrical

engineering in 1971. He has continually worked in the field as a radio frequency (RF) designer for over 30 years. He had his

amateur radio license since 1959, and has been an RF design consultant since 1979. Since June 2001, he held the position of

chief engineer for the Active Wave Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida where he designed the entire product line of active

RFID tags and readers. Bob now has a consulting company in Palm Coast, Florida named RFID Engineering.
