Design of Venturi Scruber: I/P and O/P data

It seems like a neat idea, but I have my qualms about downtime/turnaround on maintenance. Unless it is a stepwise or a divertable manifold design, the whole plant goes down for maintenance. Science is pure, engineering has to put up with people. "Suspender and belt" is my mantra.

It is wise to accept the information that is being provided to protect an element such as a novel idea, concept, design and/or resolution. The reason for the protection is very clear, its yours! Create a correspondence/Communication journal file for every person, place, date, time, individual, organization and association that this element has been exposed through some form of media. Once this journal is created you have now created your media, and probably your worst enemy, because now they know, and if they know how many others - Know. There is another approach to the "Patenting System", that provides safe guards for your ideas. This system is within the university system that conducts scientific research for technology, development, knowledge, advancement and evolution. The university system is provided with Federal Grants to assist developers, engineers, students and businesses with "Patent Assistance", when the need arises. This can usually be idenitified and processed on the wep page of the univeristy. Another alternative is with the local economc development organization within your community, which obtain grant resources to provide assistance in areas of this type. Although a venturi scrubber are usually very efficient in removing small particles it also creates a pressure drop on the gas stream. To overcome this DP fans or blowers can be employed to reduce back pressure on the system feeding the scrubber. Sometimes multiple types of scubbers, in series, are required for extremely small particles. Input data required would include: gas flow & density, particle loading, size and density, amount of liquid used in the venturi to absorb the particles.
