Maybe it fell off and that's why you can't hear it. I believe I'd call the dealer.

Usually the horn is mounted at the front of the engine compartment. Your owners manual will have a brief discription of the horn circuit for simple trouble shooting. Worst thing you could do, is go to the local library and see if they have mechanics book on hand to assist your efforts in this crisis.

Traditionally it is mounted in front of the radiator, behind the grille. If you are 'senior to most', you may be looking for a shape of years past. Modern horns do not look like the snail-shell scroll and dome shapes of the past, now they're a small flat device, often not much thicker than an inch, and about the diameter of a tin of shoe polish (boot black). Look somewhere near the A/C filter/dryer.

Or, as stated previously, it may have simply fallen off. Look for a wire going nowhere in the grille space.

Cheers,

Stu.

Interesting. I would sure look the front end over close, in front of and behind the front most firewall where the radiator is. I would also look below any battery shelf that might be there, and open up the wheel well on either side as we have found some horns, although small, mounted high and up near the front firewall, supposedly "out of harms way". It may still be hanging nearby, having lost a mounting bolt or two. If there is an apparent screened "hole", I'd dig behind where the hole is and you might find your horn. One other thing to check, and that is the energy to the horn relay, in that it may not be enough to pop the circuit into action, but only enough to "click" the relay. It may be that the horn is still there but it has become inadvertently disconnected secondary to some body work?

Try inside the driver fender well.
