Transformer Oil Testing (limit of tan delta)

The max accepatable tan delta for tramsformer oil should be below 0.001 or less than 1% (Power factor of the oil)

Higher values indicate that oil may have more ionic compounds like metals, polar compunds (oxidation Products) and other impurities like dielectric paint or varnishes etc.
