Hi Gautam,

As per my understanding, going for FGD to install or not is solely depend on Sox Norms in that perticular country or region.

But intrested to know more about perticular % in coal which makes compulsory to go for FGD.

Thanks

Hi everybody,

Coals contains different percentages of Sulphur. So, you must analyze a sample at laborautary...

When you fired it, Sulphur reacts and burn with oxygen, and compose sulphurdioxide and sulphurtrioxide. (SO2 & SO3)

Generally the %95-97 of sulphur composes to SO2 (Sulphur DiOxide) and the small part composes to SO3 (Sulphur TriOxide)

If any of you demand a Wet Type FGD (Flue Gas Desulphurisation) or a similar Air/Gas Treatment unit/plant, feel free to contact me at cemataser@yahoo.com

Regards
