I can only think to "google" for an alarm/security shop in your area. Alternatively you could approach electronic people/companies to design you one. Security is a broad spectrum. Do you want perimeter, motion, entry points covered? How do you want to "arm" it? do you also need time date stamp logging to pc? if so how far will the pc be to the access point? How would you like to be notified of an intrusion, siren, strobe, public telephone network, gsm network? Would you like to call in to the alarm system and activate devices? as you can see the list goes on and on. I hope this helps you on your way. Feel free to reply if you have any questions.

Also realize the alarm is only as good as the people who monitor/service it.

If that is in house then your responses must already be thought out and not known to any but security. If it is someone else, look for a company who's reputation would be or could be harmed by their failure.

Also test the system for weakness and have back up system, especially if insurance etc. is inadequate. Don't be afraid to be devious the crook has no such limits.

No security system is perfect but they can slow down and detour opportunists.
