distribution transformer11kv/400v

how to maintan secondary voltage (400v).

i haven problam ...

primary 11kv (matured kv)but tap connected to 11.825kv, but secondary voltege is 385v metured (no load), we need secondary 400v,tap provition available 10.175kv,10.450kv,10.725kv,11kv,11275kv,11.550kv,11.825kv.if change the tap setting from 11.825kv to 11kv possible ket 400v?

if you connect it to the 11kv tap you'll get 414v on the secondary

if you connect it to the 11.275kv tap you'll get 404v which is the closest you could get

Do you have to have exactly 400 volts at no load? Is your transformer rated at

11 kv/400 kv? No way to know from the information you provided. Connect to the

11 kv tap and take measurements. You may want the voltage a little higher to help

with voltage drop. You also need to be concerned about how well the utility maintains

the 11 kv voltage.

You may have another "problam..." such as disconnecting yourself from the very high voltage. If you don't know the answer to this question you have no business messing around with the tap.
