details need about hot forging and cold forging

HI

MATERIAL SS304 BOLT

ALREADY WE MANUFACTURING THE BOLT COLD FORGE PROCESS

NOW I DESIDE TO GO HOT FORGING

ANY CHANGE WILL BE THERE IN THE MATRIEL LIKE STRENGTH ,LIFE TIME

PLEASE HELP ME

One thing to consider when hot forging stainless steel is the heads will develop a blackened. During the manufacturing process a oxidization will form. This discoloration is generally removed by a process called "pickling". Passivation is another important procedure that chemically improves the corrosion resistance of the fastener.
