Impact / Position Sensors

09/18/2006 8:27 AM

Hi

I want to know what the best sensors will be to use if I want to determine the position where a bullet hit the target.

I thought of vibration sensors, but it might be too sensitive to other external elements like wind disturbance on the paper, and resonance from multiple gunshots.

Maybe light sensors, like an array of IR Transmitter-Receiver LED's?

Please help.

I'm guessing this would speed up the accuracy report on long range target practice. Jst use a security camera.
