Top 10 Earth Mysteries

06/09/2005 5:00 PM

"The Earth", writes Stephen Wagner, "is a mysterious place". Unexplained phenomena affect animals, weather systems, landscapes, and even human hearing. Wagner's list of "Top 10 Earth Mysteries" includes a few items that are best left to re-runs of Leonard Nimoy's "In Search Of"; however, phenomena such as the Taos Hum and the Tunguska Event intrigue even the more serious-minded. What would you add to your own "Top 10" list?
