Cold Forging Applications

We are doing Cold Forgings of Gears & Pinions on Double Action Hydraulic Presess. We have spare capacity, what other products can we look for expantion in cold forging business.

Dear Mr Kushwantchadha,

You can consider the following Automotive parts for cold forgings :

Auto electrical parts :- Cam sleeves, sollenoid housings, magnet cores.

Steering :- Ball pins, Ball housing units, Bearing Races

Propeller Shafts :- Bearing Cups, Yokes & Spiders

Fly wheels, pressure plates, heavy duty transmission parts, hog head gears, mesh gearing.

Fly wheels and pressure plates are generally made of grey cast iron ( GG 25 Grade )

for automotive applications.
