Compressor Valve

Hi all. I have some query about the compressor valves. Where do I job, there basically two types of compressors are there. One made of KG Khosla, & IngersollRand(IR).

I am in quest of the working principal of those or any other types compressors working principal.

The Khosla Compresor have four types of valves named CR1 CR2 CR3 CR4. And the IR compresors having Leaf spring channel valve of two sizes, biger one for LP n viceversa.

Please help me by answering me.

What do you mean by "Where do I job" it should be "Where I do the job"

And then what is "working principal" do you mean "working principle", if so try to get the Ing. Sol.Rand Catalogue. I think you can also download from websites.

you must live in a small place with only two comprssors. Just google compressor valves. Valve designs are very wide, from poppet, to leaf, to ring, to moppet.....

Friend! Valves are manufacturer specific so check with the manual reg. valves. Now: I assume you are asking for the principle of operation of the compressor; two types: (a) Reciprocating and (b) Screw type.

Both are good and meant for application specific. One thing is clear that the delivery is larger in screw compressors. And is gaining popularity for many applications.
