Your answer may lie somewhere here

If it doesn't - get back to me and I will see what else I can come up with.

What kind of information are you looking to specify, pipeline have a lot of information to specify for construction documents, e.g. materials requirements, connections, support, earthworks, coatings, etc..

Thank your for responding.

First is the material. I fear large differential settlements as the slope is quite irregular and with different depths of gravel deposits over rock. The slope runs alongside a torrent.

I think I should try to install the pipe in a trench wherever this is safe. In the steeper sections I need to somehow tuck the pipe into the firmer materials of the slope or otherwise protect it from settlements and debris. Considering economics I could still use PVC if the pipe is buried in rock. Otherwise I should probably go for Galvanized Iron, which where the project is located is too expensive.

I would like to have some reference as to projects that solved this before and if possible the details for anchoring, construction methods (the tucking part), and costs.

Yeah - that's a tough one to address over an internet forum.

At least you are going done the right path of looking for general examples as opposed to specific details.

It seems you are dealing with a slope stability problem - which can not effectively be answered without a site evaluation.

Depending on the depth of the 'gravel' over the bedrock you may look at installing the pipe above the loose material - you are going to need some firm anchors to the bedrock, but without further information or looking at the site firsthand - it is hard to help you.

Hopefully, like you asked, people can provide general info on similar projects.
