steel grade

can anybody suggest us the compositions of Fe 500 (indian standard 1786) and HRB500 (BS 4449:2005) reinforced steel.are they equivalent to each other?

Try here and also here for comparative information about steel grades. I do not believe that HRB500 is a British Standard but rather a Chinese Standard.

Properties are not identical even if the yield strength is equal. One of the more important variables is ductility or elongation which is different for the two grades you mentioned.
