satellite temaparature

hi

How do u arrive at the satellite temperature distribution for the given orbit?

Please help out....is it done by any software?

Yes, it is performed by software. We use Thermal Synthesizer System (TSS) from Space 3D (http://www.spacedesign.com) and Thermal Desktop from Cullimore and Ring (http://www.crtech.com). I don't know if there are export restrictions on these.

You can get an orbital average from the average angle to normal of the sun to your radiators and Q=a/eT^4, where Q is the heat flux for that time of year. That information should be available in the book the previous person noted or even online.
