Square Telescopic Tubing
Parker Steel now offers square carbon steel, telescopic tubing. Overall, telescopic tubing is a more precise tube with a much better tolerance than standard square tubing. The tighter tolerance allows another tube or another solid shape to slide inside the tube without any problems. Generally with standard square tubing, a combination of the weld bead and the tolerance won't allow or guarantee anything to slide inside the tube consistently. The tolerance on a standard square tube is a plus or minus tolerance. However, with telescopic tubing, the tolerance is plus nothing, minus and the weld bead is removed, therefore allowing a smoother, more consistent inside and tighter tolerance inside the tube.
